Vincent Browne serves as the dynamic Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of of Alternus Clean Energy. With over two decades of senior and C-suite management expertise in finance and operations, Vincent is the driving force behind Alternus’ strategic expansion across America and Europe.
As a trusted strategic advisor, he has guided companies through pivotal M&A deals, spinouts, and corporate restructurings, consistently delivering value and driving growth.
Vincent holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from University College Dublin.
VICE CHAIRMAN
John has been a director at the company since 2017. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Doonbeg Group Inc., a New York-based advisory and merchant banking firm. A seasoned Senior Executive, John brings extensive expertise in leadership, strategy, and operational management within global markets. His career highlights include significant achievements in international trade and finance, with a focus on the transportation, defense, and infrastructure sectors, particularly in emerging markets.
John’s professional journey is enriched by his service as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa and Micronesia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and International Marketing from Manhattan College, New York.

Tone joined the Alternus Energy board in 2021. Based in Oslo, she is a dedicated portfolio non-executive chair and board member. With a career spanning over two decades at DNB, Norway’s largest financial institution, Tone specialized in managing large corporate clients in Oslo and London and served as Head of Investor Relations at the Oslo headquarters.
Since 2006, she has focused on her role as a portfolio non-executive director, contributing to numerous Scandinavian companies across diverse sectors, including banking, financial services, shipping, real estate, media, biotechnology, and aquaculture. Tone has also chaired various board committees, such as risk, audit, and nomination, for publicly listed companies.
Her current board appointments include Atlantic Sapphire ASA, Aqua Bio Technology ASA, Filmparken AS, and Varme & Bad AS. Tone holds degrees from the University of Oslo and BI Norwegian Business School.

Nicholas Parker joined the Alternus Energy board in 2023 and serves as Executive Chairman of Clean Earth Acquisitions Corp. Since 2002, he has been Chairman of Parker Venture Management Inc., a Toronto-based firm through which he invests in and advises clean and smart technology businesses globally. His roles have included Chairmanship of UGE International Ltd., a publicly listed solar renewable energy developer.
Nicholas has held leadership positions at Global Acceleration Partners Inc., Cleantech Group LLC, and Emerald Technology Ventures, where he focused on energy and resource productivity. Notably, he led an investment in Evergreen Solar, which became Nasdaq’s second solar IPO in 2000. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Vice President of Environmental Capital Corporation and co-founded The Delphi Group, a leading Canadian environmental strategy firm.
He holds a B.A. (Hons) in Technology Studies from Carleton University and an MBA in International Business from CASS Business School, London.

Aaron joined the Alternus Energy board in 2023. Before his appointment, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Clean Earth Acquisitions Corp., a $230 million special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) launched in February 2022 to drive innovation in climate technology and the energy transition.
Aaron is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Climate Risk Partners, a comprehensive climate insurance platform supporting the energy transition, and Vectr Carbon Partners, a global early-stage ClimateTech venture capital fund based in Hong Kong. Additionally, he serves as an Advisor to Nexus PMG, a prominent infrastructure advisory and project development firm committed to reducing carbon intensity and promoting resource efficiency.
Aaron’s academic credentials include studies at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, as well as a bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. He also studied at Jochi University in Tokyo.

Rolf joined the Alternus Clean Energy Board in 2024, bringing over three decades of international leadership in renewable energy, maritime innovation, and finance. He currently serves as Chairman of Norhybrid, a Norway-based manufacturer of vertical industrial wind turbines, and chairs Carbon Value Technologies. He is also a Director at FutureXchange, a fintech company focused on next-generation capital markets.
From 2020 to 2024, Rolf was a Partner at Greenlight Group, an investment firm with a diversified portfolio in solar, wind, biogas, battery systems, and black pellets. He has played a key role in advancing low-emission maritime technologies, including dual-fuel engines, hybrid propulsion, and wind-assisted shipping.
Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years in the U.S. co-founding AMA Capital Partners, a New York merchant bank specializing in maritime and energy investments. He later advised Kuwait Finance House and SinoEnergy Capital on energy-related equity investments.
Rolf holds an honors degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology and studied marine law at the Norwegian Shipping Academy. He is also an officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy.
